Né au Gabon, Léonce BERT est Auteur, Nouvelliste et Essayiste.

Il s'installe en France à la fin des années 90. Deux années plus tard, il est entre Londres (Royaume Uni), le Gabon et le Japon. Passionné de lecture, de nature, de voyage et de cuisine, Léonce Bert est aussi engagé dans la protection et la revalorisation des savoirs et des savoir-faire pygmées au Gabon.

He moved to France in the late 90. Two years later, Léonce lives between London (United Kingdom), Gabon and Japan.. Passionate about reading, nature, travelling and cooking, Léonce Bert is also committed to the protection and the revalorization of pygmie’s know-how and knowledge in Gabon.

Je ne viens pas par cette voie, (la littérature) exprimer ma technique ou mon art, je viens avant tout partager dans mes ouvrages, selon mon inspiration, mon étonnement, mon constat, ma critique et ma vision sur les évènements qui font ma vie, celle à laquelle j'aspire, la vie autour de moi et au-delà ".

I do not consider myself as a writer, but rather as an "écriveur". I do not come by this path (literature) to express my art or my technical in writting. In my literary work, I come first to share, according to my inspiration, my astonishment, my observation, my criticism and my vision of the events that make my life, life around me and beyond.
